Actually looking forward to it!

Cory's brother runs a Daycare/Preschool and last night he offered me a job. I will work Mon-Thursdays (for a few hours in the afternoon-early evening) taking care of four baby's in the infant area. they are 0-1yr. I will be changing diapers, feeding them holding them. That sort of thing and everyday Constance will get to go with me and attend Preschool while I am at work. I am so looking forward to NOT being a cashier! and I am very grateful that they are letting me work there.

I had something weird happen to me today, I went into work and tried to clock in and the time clock said "invalid Badge" I was like what the heck!!, so I went upstairs to ask personnel what was going on, and she replied " I saw you turned in you last day notice for the end of next month, and I was wondering if you like to quit now since I have to many part time cashiers for our schedule" I told her no, I really need to work till the end of next month. I really need the money for gas and groceries till then. She was like " well....ok, um... I need to fix your badge then.

So they assumed that I would have said yes and deactivated my badge so I could not clock in!.
What the heck!!!

Random Stuff

This week for me has been one of injuries. Monday morning I woke up with a Horrible back ache, I could not even bend over! most the day I had to lie down to not be in any pain. I sure wish I knew what I did, to get that back ache so I could not do it again :) and Tuesday was the same way!!, So when I woke up Wednesday I was still really sore but I went into work anyway and with how that day went, well I wish I had never gone!, one of my worst days ever!! I had a costumer mouth off to me SO bad! So I spent my break time in the parking lot crying..lol I wont tell ya what she said but it was pretty bad. So Thursday is me and Cory's day off, We had a nice day that started with Jamba Juice, It was my first time ever going to Jamba Juice and it was pretty good!!

Thursday night Constance was giving me a hard time when I was trying to get her to bed. I finally grabbed her and picked her up with one arm, shes only 31 Lbs I'm strong I can do it, BAD Idea!!! I put her to bed and after I noticed my shoulder was beginning to get very sore and then very sore went to , I cant move it without wanting to yell! Turns out I pulled some muscles in my shoulder. Well Friday morning I could not move my arm from the elbow up. But me still trying to be positive, had Cory help me get dressed and set off for work, let me tell ya driving... is not fun! I walked into work and asked the CSM's ({(costumer service managers}they are the ones in charge of cashiers) I asked them if I could be in a register that faced north so I would have the items on the belt coming to me from my right, and I explained to tell them why. They told me, " you cant work like that" I tried to tell them I would be OK but they would not listen, so they said I could go ask the assistant manager for permission to work, So that's what I did. He told me " I can't chance you making it any worse on company time". Take the weekend off.

So here I am with the weekend off, It still REALLY hurts. but I know it will get better.

On August 1st me and Cory started a Low carb diet, we are doing OK on it. I was excited to find a website were a lady lives off of low carb and she has posted 100's of recipes that she has made while on the diet. The ones we have tried are pretty good. So I haven't had any bread or pasta in a week. or potato's. (except 5 french fries that I stole from Constance while getting lettuce wraps at Carl's junior) Carl Junior will make any of their hamburgers in a lettuce wrap for ya. They are so good!

Oh and walmart will not let me have a transfer when I move because I am part time, and they are trying to get rid of all their part time workers. So I will be looking for a new job this fall...

10 days and counting...blah

For the last 10 days or so I have been sick! I keep having hot and cold flashes.. my fevers don't go higher than 102, (knock on wood) but I have them so often. Last night before I tried to go to sleep I had 3 quilts on and was still cold. But then an hour later it got so hot so I kicked off all blankets, It was still so hot I sweat Through my pajamas they were soaking wet! so was everything I was wearing and my hair. So I am not going to work today, I'm trying to rest and relax. I have had about enough of this bug!!!

What luck!

As some of you may recall a couple of weeks ago we had our Plates stolen off the Mazda, well last night someone broke into our Mazda. They didn't steal anything, all they really did is made a mess. Took everything out of the glove compartment and tossed it all over. I even had a spare check book in there and they didn't take it! They did however leave behind a new cigarette for me to smoke!, how nice of them.

Over the Holidays we went to Yellowstone (with Cory's folks) for a few days (lots of photo's to come later) and the week after we went Bear lake for my parents 5oth wedding Anniversary! it was loads of fun also (again more photo's to come later) I did something at Bear Lake that I thought I could not do, so for me it was a big accomplishment. There is this cave out there I think its called the Minatonka Cave. Well anyway there is 444 steps into the cave which dead ends, so you guessed it 444 steps out of the cave. So in total 888 steps!! and there is one stair case that is 71 steps which are pretty steep!, its called the Stairway to heaven... I thought it should have been named the stairway of Hell!!. ( I am not in shape can you tell??) while we were in the cave my family back at the cabin had the little girls play mermaids in the big jacuzzi tub! looks like they had allot of fun!. Constance is the one in the back in the pink two piece, and just so ya know I don't like her in a two piece, I liked it because it came with a life jacket that attaches to the suit, we took Cory's Kayaks onto the lake and I knew Cory would want to take her out on the lake so that's why she is in a two piece. Thank you to Amy for the pictures above she emailed them to me. We still have to develop and scan photos onto the Computer so you'll see lots later of our fun trips!! and I tell you more about everything when I add the photo's! I hope you all had a very fun 4Th of July!

Saturday Craziness

** Warning.. long post..sorry**
Last Saturday was kinda a Crazy day, Some of you already know. But for those that don't here is a recap! I was working out in the lawn and garden area of walmart. I really like working out at those registers for 3 reasons

1. It is much quieter, the rest of the store is so much louder!
2. My day goes by allot faster
3. I am able to walk around a little more so I am not just standing for long periods of time.

So I was out in lawn and garden, a man comes through my line with a boxed patio set. The box is huge and I was amazed that he even got in semi in a cart as it was. He had it in the basket so a corner was facing down.. It was really the only way to get part of the box in a cart. So he had to been balancing it with his other hand the whole time. Well as my luck would have it the barracode was on the bottom of the box. I was bending over trying to use my scan gun to scan the box so he would not have to lift the box very high at all and he looses his grip and BOP on the head I got hit! I could not believe he dropped it on my head! a 5 piece patio set! the box weighs over 50 Lbs easy. for a second I thought I was going to black out. it hurt so bad!! I don't know if I have ever had a headache like that before. The rest of the day I found it hard to concentrate... It was kind of a weird sensation.
so... after work I head out to the Mazda I had parked it on the far side against the building. I walked up from behind the Mazda, and right away I new something was different. I looked up at our back window (we have a vinyl of our family) saw the family vinyl so I was like, OK... this is my Mazda.. it took a few seconds to register the plates were missing! someone had unscrewed and stolen the licence plate!! So I called my brother Scott (he's a Deputy Sheriff) and asked him what to do. He told me to call the police, So I call the police and they told me they'd send someone on the way. I was like Crap! this is going to take forever I just know it. In the meantime Constance was at a my parents house. and I really just wanted to get her. But after a few minutes a Deputy called me and asked if we could just work everything over the phone!! yea I was so relived! So he told me that most likely the person had stolen a vehicle that looked like ours and they steal another plate to put on the vehicle they steal to try to confuse them.. (OK whatever) But he told me I had to go to the DMV and have new plates issued to me. Even though we had the second plate at home (we don't have one on the front of the Mazda) So today I went and stood in line for 30-40 min to get the new plates they only cost $10 and when I got home to try to screw the plates on, the screws I had bought from walmart were to fat so I have to get others tomorrow. The funny thing about this whole thing is that we had just registered the Mazda like 2 days before they stole the plates, it was 2 months past due. So we were driving it around illegal and finaly gotten the thing legal and then they stole the plates and we were back to driving around an illegal vehicle. So we had to drive around all weekend with our case # in case we got pulled over. Craziness!! but hey at least the Mazda is legal again :)
