On Saturday since my glasses were broke they had me watching over the self scan registers. I really like working the self scan machines, though at times it is not easy watching 6 different registers, 7 if you count the one i stand at to watch over all of them. Well at about 12:15 the power shut down, and we know now from watching the news that it was the power box that exploded or whatever. The store was packed at the time. So after about 5-10 min of everyone waiting for the generators to kick in, the Managers realized that the generators were not going to come on, So ALL of the customers had to leave their carts right where they were, and all the workers had to start sorting what was perishable and put that away first, their walk in refrigerators were packed full of carts that were full of any kind of cold item. the same for the freezers. And then we had to put all of the other Items away. and then we had to "Front" every aisle meaning pulling all Items to the front of the shelves and straitening them. I was off at 3:30 but at 2 :50 they asked if I would like to go and since I was half blind that day (still no glasses) I eagerly agreed. But on the news they said the power did not turn back on till after 5pm On a bright note I found my spare pair of glasses when I got home that day YEA!!! I can see!!! there was a weird thing also Saturday, when I was leaving walmart there were still a few customers that would not leave, that were sitting waiting for the power to come on. They just did not want to come back they said. Who wants to sit at walmart for 5 hours for the power to come back on???
Porters Place..
If you live in Utah and you have not been to Porters Place in Lehi, you are missing out. It is named after Porter Rockwell himself. They have allot of Mystery drinks one is even " The Dishwater" or so its named. But they have a sandwich that I love its called Solder Sandwich the bottom layer is a slice of bread, on top of that there is a cheeseburger Pattie and then on the top its beanie weenies ( baked beans with slices of hot dogs) and they also have bacon and green peppers and onion stirred into there beanie weenies. So I am having that for dinner (without the bread) with Potato salad YUM YUM

What a morning
Constance is still getting over the flu, she has had it since Monday afternoon. She still has hershey squirts and a sore throat, so it has been VERY difficult to get her to eat ANYTHING. And this morning as I am getting ready for work I broke my glasses, I just hope I can see to drive ok!, but I really don't think work is going to go well.. How am I ever going to see those tiny baracodes. I just pray they will let me do ANYTHING but check. I don't want to get a migraine, and I don't know how long it will be before I can get them fixed. My eyes do need to be checked anyway.. Man o man, this is not going to be easy.

Not only was yesterday Easter it was.......
Cory's Birthday!!!!
I hope my hubby had a good birthday, I was worried that it would just seem like Easter to him.
We had a nice day though. I was able to hide Constance's treat filled eggs outside, and the ones we colored inside before she woke up. I had an Easter Card the other day where its to the kid from the Easter bunny. Constance loves that card!, getting cards is great but getting one from the Easter bunny was just WOW to her! After church was out we went to Cory's parents for dinner, I had made Cory a Lime Jello Cake where you poke the cake and drizzle lime jello over the top and spread cool whip over the top. it was YUM! oh and we added coconut on the top for extra yuminess!!,
Its kinda funny, this year Cory is kinda sensitive about his age, He turned 31 and he did not like me telling everyone with how I decorated the car for him. I am sure he will get even with me (what the heck did I do) o-well I don't mind if people know I am 29 (hehe)
I am so grateful for Cory, he works so hard for our little family. He is my best friend. I am so glad we have all the Eternity to be together.

The usuall
Sorry I have not posted in a long time. We just have had the usual going on.
Cory's schedule just changed this week, its not too different during the week but on Saturdays he no longer works too 11:00 pm, which we all will love I am sure. He now only works till 6:30 Yea!!! and his day off has changed from Tuesdays to Thursdays (and he still has Sundays off) but with his schedule changes that means so has mine. Which is a good thing to, but mine wont change until next week or the week after. So for a couple of weeks till mine changes it might be hectic here.
Constance is still having her reading lessons a couple times a week, she now knows all the sounds to the Alphabet, lower and upper case. And she now knows how to read a 100 plus words. My little three year old is so smart. I never thought she would be reading at three years old.
I'm doing the same as always. I worked last Saturday so I did not hear conference then but I enjoyed listening to it on Sunday as we looked for houses at Eagle Mountain. Looks like we will be extending our lease her for six months and then see where we are at in October, we really want to get into a house this year so we can use the 8,000 government tax credit towards a home.
Cory had a cousin that died in his sleep, I think they said he was only 36. He leaves two young kids. It is so sad when someone dies that is so young. They don't know how he died yet, and I am sure that makes it harder for his family the not knowing part.
I hope everyone is doing well. I'm sorry this turned out to be so long. I love you all.
