I love Mr. Beans Christmas I think it is so HILARIOUS so I just had to add him for you all to enjoy! Merry Christmas!

Thankful

Last night Constances mouth was really bothering her, to the point that she was crying nonstop and pointing to her teeth. I felt hopeless, It breaks my heart to see my little one hurting. We didn't know our home teachers phone numbers, (our ward directory is not up to date) but I was going through old handouts from church and managed to stumble onto my old visiting teachers phone number and her husband is our home teacher, so we called them and were able to have them come and give Constance a Blessing, she sat really still and was so good while they gave her, her blessing. After you could tell that she was feeling allot better. The spirit was so strong in our apartment after, it was like a warm blanket and it gave us all a hug. That night when I put her to bed she had a hard night at first, crying every 5 min or so. until about midnight when I surrendered and took a pillow and blanket to sleep in her room by her. After that she slept peacefully. and today she still is in pain, but she seems allot happier and stronger. She is more eager to still play today and to still get a few laughs out. And this morning I was so proud of her she ate 1 1/2 pancakes! (5 inch) and she did not fight as much today when I gave her the antibiotic, and pain killers. I am so grateful for Priesthood Blessings and the comfort and healing powers that they hold.

CONSTANCE!!

yesterday I purchased Wall E for Constance and she has watched it four times in the last 24 hours. I felt bad for her, she has not been feeling well. She has an infection in her mouth, that is making her have a fever and making her gums swell. So its hard for her to eat anything. I just hope that the antibiotic that we started her on yesterday will get into her system and fight hard. I don't want her being in pain on Christmas. I just wish we could have gotten all her dental work done before Christmas. But I'm just glad its getting done so she can be back to her bubbly self. As the 29Th is getting closer and closer I am getting nervous for her. I don't know how she will react to them giving her an IV to sedate her. I just want my little girl to be healthy and happy.

Plumbing Problems

Aaarrgh! Our apartment is REALLY old, and along with that comes crappy plumbing. Granted out of all our apartments I have enjoyed living here the best over all. I am just so tired of all the plumbing problems we are having. I cant tell you all the times our Tub has just decided not to drain, or the sink or the DISH WASHER!!, last night before I went to bed I put a load in the dishwasher since it is so old it takes 4 hours to do a cycle! but I woke up this morning expecting to be able to put the dishes away. WRONG WRONG WRONG! so I am fed up with it. I give up. I am throwing in the white towel. I will get all the dishes clean and then I am stocking up on paper plates until we move out of here.

and our vacuum has decided not to work either!, It has not worked for a while now, so I have been having to use our hand vacuum while crawling everywhere. thank goodness I have a hand one!

*Dont know really what to call this post*

Constance is getting really excited for Christmas to come. Every morning she gets so excited to open one of the doors on her advent calender. She keeps trying to convince me to let her open all of the doors so Santa will get here sooner. But the closer Christmas get here the more Antsy and scared I am getting. you see we are having Constance sedated for a big dental appointment. we have tried several times taking her to a couple different dentists and she wont let them even open her mouth. but she has several cavities that need to be taken care of. so on the 29Th she is getting them all fixed. The butterflies are already in my stomach. I just want the whole thing over with. I am glad she is getting her mouth fixed, I just hate the thought that she will be in pain after the fact.

TWILIGHT

So a couple of weeks ago I started reading the TwiLight series, and all I can say is WOW! I LOVE LOVE LOVE them, they are the best books I have read in a long time. I am in the middle of the 3rd book right now, and I think Constance likes the story line as well, she'll always ask me to read it out loud to her. Its kinda cute.

I survived!

The last couple of days working at walmart has been crazy!! The fist four hours yesterday we were so busy, and then it was dead. Really slow. I was watching over the self scanners the last hour and a half and collected $21.14 in money that people left behind in the change dispensers.

and today was CRAZY busy in the morning but after 12 noon it went allot smoother. I still over all really like working at walmart, It is allot better than being a checker at Maceys. and to top it off I get a discount at any walmart, I have whats kind of like a debit card that I slide before paying to get my discount, its a nice bonus.

Last night was kind of a hard night for all of us, Constance decided to wake up about every 10-15 minutes crying. I think her cough just kept waking her up and she was so tired so it was upsetting her (I don't blame her) So I ended up sleeping on the floor in her room so I could watch over her and try to help her as much as possible. So I really just gave her medicine and then just prayed all night long that she would be able to, not have her cough wake her up and that she would have a good rest and be comfortable. I don't know how much my praying for her helped. I felt so bad for her, She was so tired, when she would yell out during the night it never made much sense what she was saying. It was so sad she wanted me to help her and I felt like I wasn't doing much.

Some People

Some People really frustrate me, they just have to respect. Me and Cory were at Walmart (not the one I work at)-- and we were over in the seasonal area. There was this lady who was walking around and opening things and then just leaving them. First I saw her open this package of Christmas tinsel she separated it all, looking at it and then just dropped it and was on her way. Then she was looking at some Christmas ball ornaments, opened of course. Next on to the lights! she opened a box of lights separated the whole strand and then had the nerve to just drop it all on the floor and walk away! at this point I was keeping my eyes open for an employee to talk to about her. I wasn't able to find one near by.

The last six weeks or so working at wall mart I have noticed something that kind of upsets me. I don't think that most of the costumers coming through my line have any respect for checkers. and if they do, they don't show it.

you see.. MOST of my costumers completely ignore me. I ask them how their day has been so far and if they found all that they came for, and I get no response. some of the time I think " oh they didn't hear me and I will re ask them. They will just look at me like I am an Idiot, and still I will get no response.
I don't no if this is EVIL or not, but some of the time, I will answer for them. Like when I ask them how they are doing? and they will look at me but not respond. I will say " good Stacy, I'm glad you asked, and how you doing?" and I will hold a conversation with myself. Yes I know, I am a dork. Unless something rings up wrong, then they yell at me like its my fault it rang up the wrong price! and then silly me since they yelled at me I think OK, now they will talk to me so I will try to converse with them after the problem is fixed. NOPE I get not a word.

I still get a few here and there that are still kind. But they are few and far apart. and I think it will get worse and worse the closer Christmas gets.

I am so thankful for the kind costumers that come through my line, the ones that will give me the time of day, and not blame me when things don't ring up the price they thought it was. The ones that if nothing else will still give me a smile. These are ones that make my day a little better.

Any chore I do with Constance is pretty fun. She makes doing dishes fun, Laundry and anything that she helps me with. But if I am doing a chore alone my favorite one would have to be making dinner. (if you count that as a chore)

I love to try new recipes, so anything new is fun, ex specially when Constance is helping me!

7. What meal do you cook most often?

I make spaghetti and tuna fish casserole most often I think.

8. what are 5 things you love about being a mommy?

Hmm so I have to limit it to five things huh..

1. I love hugs and kisses with her, and cuddle time too!

2. Hearing the sweet little words (I love you) out of her mouth.

3. Having a new best friend, that I will have for life.

4. Knowing that family's are FOREVER

5.I love seeing all the new things that she learns, It just amazes me that she is learning to read at such a young age.

I would like to take her on a trip around the world, to let her see the wonders of the world.

Yesterday, when I went to work.

It would have to be when she was born and all the problems that she had. and having her moved to a different hospital than the one I was in, it was heartbreaking not being able to be with her in the NICU

I tell her like a million times a day.

Crime Scene at our Complex

Saturday when I left to pick up Cory from work I noticed that there was Allot of cops, and firetrucks and ambulances and paramedics in our apartment complex. There is allot of older people that live here so I just thought that one had, had a heart attack.

after I had picked up Cory and returned home we discovered that both entrances to our complex were blocked off by police cars and they told us we would not be able to go home for a couple of hours, because there was a big crime scene and we wouldn't be able to get by.

So.. Cory was starving so we took him to subway (the one inside the wal-mart I work at) and he ate dinner and we walked around the store getting a few items that we needed. at 10pm when the news came on we found out that it was a couple in their 50's and there was 10 bullets that had been shot. the man shot the lady in her leg. she was OK but on her way to the hospital, and the man was on his way to jail.

about 10:30 we were able to go home. This adds on another reason why we want to get out and into our own home!

Christmas Time is here at last!

I love Christmas, Cory REALLY likes Halloween so I try to make a big deal over it for him. Truth is I love Christmas time. (minus the rude drivers and not so friendly shoppers) For those that remember last year it will be a recap, but for those that don't remember last years Christmas tree fiasco well it went a little like this:

Last year we decorated our Christmas tree with snowman ornaments (my favorite) that took me years to collect! I LOVED that tree. Well it had a weak stand, and one night when we were all asleep it tipped over. and broke a few ornaments :( but it still had ALLOT of ornaments on it, so we stood it back up and hoped it would not fall again.

Many of you know that I like to sleep on the heater vents in the winter, one night I was doing just that when, THE TREE FELL ON ME! I was asleep then next thing you know the tree was on top of me!, and well.. lets just say a few more ornaments broke :( but this was not the last time the tree fell that year. It fell one more time after Christmas and now after years of collecting Snowman ornaments only a couple were left :(

So this year we got a new tree and new ornaments, we decided to get teal, purple, silver and green ornaments. It is soo pretty. I love it!, The pictures did not turn out to well, but the close up turned out OK. It is my NEW favorite ornament! :)

I just hope to not be awakened by another Christmas Tree attack!

Sorry Folks

looks like this year I wont be seeing any family members on Thanksgiving. I get to work all day. which is OK, I understand that everyone gets their turn when they have to work on the Holidays. I remember when I was younger it seemed like every Christmas dad had to work. We would wake up earlier so we could have Christmas with dad. and on a good note, I'll get holiday pay! at least Wal-mart is not open on Christmas day, thank goodness for that!

P.s. Thank goodness for microwaves, and a willing husband who will bring me home a plate to warm up! yum yum!

Trick or Treat

Here is Constance as Tinkerbell, She looked so cute and so grown up. We had allot of fun this year with her. Tough it felt as though Cory and I were trick or treating this year, She was so shy she would not say a word to people. Then as soon as we left their driveway she would chatter all the way to the next house and then Silence. It was kind of funny in a way!

14 days till Halloween

This year we were trying to be more careful on how we spend our money so for out Anniversary we both made each other something homemade, I made Cory a Turtle Cheesecake, and he wrote me a very beautiful poem. Which he called "The Sweetest Day" which is the Holiday we we got married on, and we never knew of its existence till after we were married . But it suits well.

Last night at 1 AM I noticed that there was a light on in the front room, I had Cory investigate.. and what we found was, the light and TV were on. And there was Constance fast asleep on the couch. When she woke up and turned on the TV, I have no clue. I asked her about it this morning, but she resorted back to her "baby talk".. she has been doing allot of that lately. Some have told me its because of her being at different sitters lately. I worry about that. I hate working and leaving her with sitters 4 days a week. But with the rising prices on everything there is not much I can do about it right now.

I just hope things will get better and I can be home with her more.

My Happily Ever After!!

My Happily Ever After Started four years ago *yesterday* as Cory and I were Sealed for Time and all Eternity in the Temple. It was one of the happiest days in my life, and it has just gotten better as time goes by. (Really fast) As most of you know, we did not date long at all before Cory brought up Marriage. I knew right from the beginning that we would be together! I am so lucky and so happy that I get to spend Eternity with my best friend Cory.

we have all heard the expression "Foaming at the mouth" when someone is mad, But yesterday I actually SAW someone foaming at the mouth he was so mad!, He was foaming and drooling everywhere, it was kinda gross!

Time to stock up!

Its that time of year, time to stock up on tissues, cold medicine, and chicken noodle soup/saltine crackers!.. yes you may have guessed it Constance is sick. She has a fever and has thrown up. So all she wants today is to watch movies. poor little girl!

Hi Ho, Hi Ho its off to work I go

well I have another job. I have not started oriantion at Wal-mart yet, but I will soon. At least this time I dont have to wear an apron or wake up at 2 AM.. Its nothing neat by no means, but it will help Cory with our budget.

My Little Helper

Constance is such a good little girl. and lately such a good helper, She wants to help with dishes and the laundry and Cooking. She loves to cook! I let her add all the ingredients, stir and other small tasks. and the last few days she is now making her bed on her own, on a daily basis. It is so cute! and today:

Constance: Momma I need a dish rag.

Me: what do you need a dish rag for?

Constance: to wash my hands.

Me: I just washed your hands, they should be clean.

Constance: no Momma I need to wash the wrinkles off my hand!

I couldn't help but laugh it was too cute!

Halloween!!!

It seems like Halloween is just around the corner and I am so excited. Cant you tell?? I have always liked Halloween. With the scent of fall in the air, little kids in cute costumes.. Caramel apples, yum! and the chance to dress and act silly! This last years photo, isnt it cute!

Bird Marionette

It dawned on me that I never showed you all the Bird Marionette that I knitted for Constance, I think it turned out really cute! and Constance loves to make it walk. I have had several people tell me I should make them and sell them in a booth like at quilted bear, but I don't know. But if any of you would like one (any color) for you kids I will make you one for $12.

Happy Birthday Constance!!
Constance turned 3 today, so to Celebrate we took her to Boondocks and played miniature golf, we took lots of photo's on the camera (not digital) so I will post those when we get them developed. And then we had dinner with Grandma and Grandpa Jones with Grandma Henrie.. and we came home for cake and Ice cream.
Then to top off the evening we took her to a park, She sure has had allot of fun, Thank you for all the Birthday wishes and presents she loves them all!

1 month left!

I gave my 30 day notice with the paper. It is not worth it anymore to me. With the cost of gasoline, and the bags to cover the papers. and the fines.. we were barely even profiting.. Plus waking up soo early every day was really getting to me, 1:50 is too early for anyone. I was only getting about 3 1/2 hours to 4 hours of sleep every night. Then during the day I am just dragging. and lately I have had a yucky cold, I think its because I am not sleeping much so my body don't get much rest but I don't know. Plus with Cory's schedule we only saw each other about 3 hours in the afternoon since I had to go to bed before he came home.

Yea, not worth it!

Pink Purse

I made Constance a purse on a kniffty knitter loom, I didn't have a pattern I just kind of made it up as I went along. I think it turned out pretty good, and Constance likes it!

You'd think I'd be happy

I got my check today, so you would think I would be happy. but it made me soo frustrated, I hate the fact that I have to pay for the bags to cover the paper out of my paycheck. they took about $ 150.00 out of my paycheck for those stupid bags! I hope the bags last longer than 2 weeks. you would think the Newspaper Agency would pay to protect their newspaper, especially since gas prices are so high, for their deliverers, if they take any more money out of my check I will be paying them to deliver their newspapers!
soo I am not happy. GRRR at least I only had 2 complaints this pay period so I only got charged $4 not like last pay period I had $30 in complaints, but now I know my route really well so I don't think I will have any more problems with complaints unless I get some more thief's. Last pay period I had some people stealing papers after I threw them. but I still got charged the $2 dollars a complaint on them even though I could not help it. Even though I have less complaints this pay period my check was $80.00 less than last pay period just because of those stupid bags! it doesn't seem fair does it?

Feeding Mr. Turtle

Today while Constance was feeding Mr. Turtle I snapped a picture, for some reason its not that clear but I still thought it was cute. we also took Mr. Turtle out of his cage for a few minutes so he could wander. I tried to snap a few of him too but they all came out blurred since he would not stop moving. I think he wants to run away!

Good News!

I was finally able to get my mother in laws old digital Camera to work, so while Cory was home during his split shift we went outside to help Constance learn to peddle on her bike. She is catching on a little.

Fountain Diving??

This Evening on out walk, we went by the condos so Constance could see the ducks. Like yesterday she began to throw pine cones into the pond. Next thing I knew her foot slipped and she goes sliding into the pond, the water was up to her neck by the time I got to her. I am sooo thankful that I was able to get to her and that I was not afraid to jump in!! (I am soo afraid of deep water) it took a few minutes for me to get her out. The sides of the fountain pond were so scummy and slippery and the wall is on an angle. I literally had to lay against the wall and just try to push her up. she slipped back in a couple of times because it was soo slick. I am so thankful I was able to get her out and that I was able to get to her quick. The water was almost up to my neck at the part where I had to jump in to get to her. I am soo thankful that Heavenly Father helped me get her out. I know it was him who took away my fear so I could help my sweet little girl who was soo scared. I don't know if I will visit this little pond any time soon. and yes my phone was in my pocket and wont work now, hopefully when it drys out I will be able to get it to work. if not anyone can always call Cory's phone #

When I jumped in I slammed my knee into maybe what the water squirts out of and now it is very painful and a little swollen. it took my a good five minutes( at least it felt like it) for me to get out. with the angle of the wall anytime I tried to climb out I would slide to the bottom and poor Constance was watching me the whole time and crying. The only thing that was not slippery was the very edge of the pond (about 5 inches wide) so I had to try to grip this flat surface to get out. and wearing those plastic croc shoes probably didn't help any. and walking home through the few blocks in our apartment complex was not fun either. I can only imagine what people thought since we were covered in slimy green scum.

I am soo thankful to be home and safe! I just wish I could call my parents and tell them. They always make me feel better!

So now that Constance is out of the bath, it is shower time for me!!

P.S. Constance thinks we went swiming with the ducks :)

Scott this post is for you!

Last night on the way home from picking up Cory from work around 9pm. We were stopped at a red light and across the intersection there was a car in the left hand turn lane. There were also like 3 people crossing the street 2 ladies and 1 man. when the man was 3/4 across the street he glanced all around him then darted back the car that was waiting to make the left hand turn. He handed the man some bills it looked like, and the man in the car handed what appeared to be a small bag of something, don't know what it was. but we think it was drugs. then the man hurried to catch up with the two ladies.

we were not sure what we should have done. A~ if it was a drug deal and we called the police, they wouldn't have made it there before the car left. B~ we did not see the license plate. C~ I was not about to follow the car, if they were dealers they probably had a gun or two on them!

anyway Scott if you read this, tell me what should I have done?

Our Walk Today

Today since the weather was nice and not too warm, me and Constance went for a walk. The condos next door have some ponds that always have ducks in them so of course this was our first stop. For the next 5 min or so, Constance entertained herself by throwing 20-30 pine cones in the ponds, hope the Condos don't mind!

Next we saw a barbie leg on the ground, right by a pink polka dot sock. for the rest of our walk she was trying to convince me that we needed to go and get the sock and barbie leg, to take home with us.

Castle Cake

This year Constance told me she wanted a Castle cake, so I have bought this kit and plan on making it. I just hope mine can turn out half as cute! I will post a picture of the one I make after her B-day!, She is growing up soo fast. I wish I could have a time machine and do it all over again with her every day!!

Its a bird, Its a plane, no... its BAT!

Yesterday when I threw a newspaper that hit a garage door I saw something black fall to the ground and then I heard the flaps of his wing as he comes flying strait at me! You guessed it. It was a bat! no need to tell you how fast I turned around and ran back to the van!, then ounce safe inside realized that I had to get back outside and porch a newspaper next to the bat house. My heart was beating soo fast!

and then not long after the scary bat moment, I threw a paper and it slid and stopped right under a car. I had to slide underneath on my stomach and retrieve it, to only have the same thing happen again on the next street over. I just hope my aim gets better soon. I don't like sliding underneath peoples cars.

Finally yea..

I wanted a change for my background on here.. I couldn't get this one to work at first, but now success!! anyway I better get to bed. 1 :50 Am comes pretty fast!

Pettiness!!

I cannot stand petty people. I have a gated community on my paper route, and today a man that lives in this gated area came out to my car when I was reaching for his newspaper, only to yell at me and tell me that if I couldn't have the paper make it to his porch than they were going to quit their subscription. These Condo's are so close to the road. They only have 3 steps to get down to the driveway and their driveways are only like 5 feet to their garage. but because of how the railings are on their porch , when I would throw the paper it would usually hit the railing instead of going over. So I was tossing the newspapers so they would land agianst the steps. Seriously he would have only taken 3-5 steps from his front door to reach the paper. how petty can one person be.

All nighter

yesterday they had me throw two paper routes, let me tell ya I was soo tired. But after I was done they told me I could choose between the two routes. I am so thankful for the chance to take the second route for two reasons.

1. more papers.. and you know what that means.. more $ though it does take a little longer, and I get a little more worn out, but its worth it.

2. the second route is mostly homes, compared to the first one which was apartments.
the apartment complexes made me a little nervous because they were not well lit. and you never know what wacko might be out there. ( I have heard many stories already from the other carriers)

since tomorrow is Sunday I have to be there at 1:30 instead of 2:30 and since my body wont let me fall asleep before 9:30 I don't see a point in going to bed tonight and waking up 3 hours later, so I will be pulling an all nighter and then sleeping after my route tomorrow before church..
but don't worry I bought a energy drink just in case!

Its Amazing!!

It is so Amazing all the benefits a job can give you (and I don't mean health insurance..lol) For the last couple of months I have been so depressed, about not being able to get pregnant yet, about our finances, my weight.. Just everything was just wearing down on me.. to the point that I was even scared how depressed I really was. And now it just been two days that I have been working, but already I feel soo much better.. Yes I have to wake up at 2Am everyday but I am done before Cory and Constance wake up for the day. This morning I was done with my paper route at 5:30 I was able to pick up the front room, take Cory to the train station and go grocery shopping and I was done by 9 Am. I am accomplishing so much more in the time that used to be asleep. I love it. and I am also getting some exercise in with my paper route. It is mostly apartment's and so, most the time I am out of the car and running all through the complexes. And to top it all off I also get paid for it yea!!

And I also realized something important the other day, I have known it all along really but because I was so depressed it didn't bring me comfort like it does now. I realized that while I may not be able to have another child for awhile, I am soo glad that I have such a sweet little girl. Constance is truly my best friend. She is more than I can ever hope for, and for that I feel truly blessed.

My Little girl is not so little anymore...

Today I went shopping to by Constance her first pairs of panties, we have been potty training her for about two weeks and she is doing so well. There has been only a couple of accidents, but then again she was not wearing panties.. I was letting her run around the house with just a T-shirt on. So we will see how she does being a "big Girl" She never tells me when she has to go. I always just hear the music her potty makes as she is going. So I hope she will get in the habbit of telling me when she is actually wearing her big girl panties.

It was funny when we were at Wal-mart getting her panties, I asked cory how he felt buying his little girl her first pair of panties. he was like" Im fine, just dont make me buy her any Tampons"

New Addition!

My mom called the other day, turns out my dad was outside mowing the grass and almost ran over, who we now call Mr. Turtle. I don't know who was more Excited me or Constance. we looked up different kinds of turtles and found out that we have a Russian Tortoise. and he loves to eat!!

She's a BIG girl now!!

Constance went "potty" all by herself for the first,second, third and fourth time today!! She didn't tell me until after she went. So I will have to work on that part (since she cant reach to wipe her little bottom) I am so proud of her and all that she is accomplishing at such a young age. I think today is the first day on her way to being potty trained. YEA!!
