Got Pictures?

Everyone has heard the phrase "Got Milk?".. Well I am so sick of it. It is soooo over used. People use it with everything. Anyway now that I have that said we can continue. I'm so excited, that I will be able to add pictures whenever I want to my posts! YEA!! So I hope all of you don't bet sick of all the photos that I probably am going to add.. Now if someone could tell me how I am able to put pictures throughout my whole post that would be great! whenever I try to add a picture they all go at the top :( or... not where I would like them. The top photo just shows you that she was dressed like her new dolly. The middle picture is Constance and her new doll house, she wanted everyone to see what Santa gave her. This bottom picture is when she was trying on all the princess dress up jewelry that she got.. She loves to dress up!. well that's all for now. I hope someone will respond and tell me how the heck I can add photos and be able to add more text after each one.. I guess I'm not blogger savvy yet. I hope you all had a Merry Christmas!, I know we did.

Christmas 2009

At the Preschool the kids were able to sit on Santa's Lap the other day. I was so excited to take Constance but was worried that she would not sit on Santa's Lap. For those that know Constance well, know that sometimes she can be pretty shy. (I have no Idea who she got it from) We walked in the room where Santa was sitting and we got to watch several kids go up and sit on his lap before it was her turn, several of those kids freaked out and were crying and such. I thought 'Oh great just what she needs to see other kids freaking out" when it was her turn she ran right up to Santa sat on his lap answered his questions and let them take her picture. I was so shocked and very happy!! and the picture turned out pretty cute!! I'm so proud of her!!

Best Banana nut bread ever!!

  1. 2 Cups Flour
  2. 1 tsp. Salt
  3. 2 tsp. Baking Soda
  4. 1 Cup Margarine
  5. 2 cups sugar
  6. 2 cups mashed bananas
  7. 4 eggs beaten
  8. 1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans

  9. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour two 9x5 inch loaf pans.
  10. Sift the flour, salt and baking soda into a large bowl. In a separate bowl, mix together the butter or margarine and sugar until smooth. Stir in the bananas, eggs, and walnuts until well blended. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture, and stir just until blended. Divide the batter evenly between the two loaf pans.
  11. Bake for 60 to 70 minutes in the preheated oven, until a knife inserted into the crown of the loaf comes out clean. Let the loaves cool in the pans for at least 5 minutes, then turn out onto a cooling rack, and cool completely. Wrap in aluminum foil to keep in the moisture. Ideally, refrigerate the loaves for 2 hours or more before serving.
I copied this recipe from www Allrecipes. com and for some reason the numbers by the recipe just appeared and will not delete. haha owell This is such good bread everyone should try it and then give a loaf of this away, trust me once you try this bread you wont want to stop eating it. plus its the season to give so give on of the two loaves that it will make away. :)

Holiday Craziness

I love this time of year, so many yummy smells fill the air. Lots of fun little activities that I plan with Constance. Like today we made a gingerbread house and cut out some snowflakes. Its small things, but they were so much fun!, Constance makes any activity so much fun.

Last Sunday they asked me and Cory to work in the nursery. I am excited I think it sounds allot of fun. and it is a good excuse to bring snacks to church every Sunday..lol also last Sunday was the start of a couple of crazy days for us with Cory at Instacare and in the ER on Tuesday for most of the day. He had a really bad allergic reaction mixed with an infection in his body.. He got me pretty scared for a short time there, His blood pressure was real low and his white blood count was really high, He had a rash with hives from head to toe and was sick to his stomach out both ends..lol He is now on allot of prescriptions and has to have a bland diet for a while and we have to follow up at an Allergist, which he cant even get into one till march. That's when they will take new patients and our insurance. which is kinda stinky to wait that long, but there is not much can do about it.

We went to the festival of trees last night, we had a nice time. It was kinda crazy trying to find a parking spot but Cory always has good luck with parking spots. When we got home me and Constance were walking in the front door and in the background there was a dog barking and she said " Momma there is a dog roofing" It was so cute! it made me chuckle.

I hope everyone is doing well and is enjoying the holidays, I know we are :)

small update :)

Constance gave her first talk today in Primary. She did so well. My little baby is not a baby any more, she is growing up so fast. We moved in with Cory's parents a couple of weeks ago. They live in Erda. I don't like driving on I-80 but its better than rush hour on I-15 . Cory and I are working on getting our Temple Recommends back so we are taking Temple prep as a refresher.

I really am enjoying working at the day care, though at times having 4 kids all under the age of one to take care of can be a challenge. Its a rewarding one with great perks, I get Friday ,Saturday and Sunday off every weekend. I know your jealous arnt you..jk though dealing with their parents is more of a challenge than taking care of the babies.

I hope everyone is doing well. Take care
